MR Ahmed Fahour

Ahmed Fahour's resignation

Our Union has enjoyed a largely constructive relationship with Mr Fahour throughout his tenure as CEO and Managing Director and we wish him well in his future endeavours.

Rather than the remuneration of one executive, the Australia Post Board's focus needs to shift back to the pay and conditions of their 36,000 other employees.

In light of today’s profit announcement, Australia Post should recognise the contribution of its workforce in producing this result as enterprise bargaining continues.

Attributable to Greg Rayner, National Secretary CEPU (CWU Division)
