Australians want to back businesses that back their workers

Penalty rates are under attack and family budgets are being put at risk for the lowest-paid workers in fast food, hospitality, retail stores and pharmacies.

By supporting the businesses listed on the Businesses 4 Penalty Rates website, you’re making sure your money goes to fair wages.

Employers don’t have to take advantage of Malcolm Turnbull’s cuts to penalty rates. They can do the right thing and keep paying their staff full, fair wages.

Maybe you know a local café, retail store or pharmacy that has committed to paying full penalty rates.

If you do, you can register their details at www.businesses4penaltyrates.com.au and the ACTU will double-check to make sure that business has 100% committed, before putting them up on the website so everyone knows they’re doing the right thing.
