Discussions between your Union and Australia Post were held recently in to specialist training that has been developed to assist Retail staff in handling difficult situations and communicating with aggressive customers.
The training package was developed by an external provider and is currently being trialled with two pilot programs recently conducted in NSW & Qld.
The training is set to be rolled out shortly across the country with your Union’s involvement.
In the meantime, if you’re concerned with the escalation of instances involving aggressive customers in your workplace, you should contact your Branch Official as soon as possible for escalation with management.
