CWU member pleased with AAT outcome

A CWU member has settled her case in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) with the assistance of the union.

The member had a number of applications before the Tribunal. The applications related to back and shoulder injuries that she said were work-related. The member described the work as physically demanding labouring type work that involved repetitive and sustained loading and unloading heavy items (mail and parcels) over long periods of time. Post denied liability. The matter went to the AAT.

CWU member is pleased with outcome. The settlement is confidential.
