EBA11: WAGES AT AUSTRALIA POST TO INCREASE BY 4%, THIS WEEK

This week, wages at Australia Post have increased by 4%, delivered by the EBA11 outcome that members overwhelmingly voted to lock-in, last year.

This isn't a gimmick, bonus, or conditional one-off reward, it’s a guaranteed pay increase that compounds on last year’s, securing real gains in your pay packet and your ability to keep up with the cost of living.

This outcome belongs to every CWU member across the country. Your determination and support throughout the EBA11 campaign and your commitment to strong Union membership levels across your workplaces are what makes outcomes like this possible.

When your Union was at the bargaining table, it was your backing, your participation and your voices that gave your leadership team the strength and influence we needed to deliver this outcome.

Today, we celebrate your success, and your families will feel the benefit.

But we also know this: delivering the very best possible outcomes for workers and their families only come from being strong, united, and growing in numbers.

So if you’re working alongside someone who isn't yet a CWU member, reach out—invite them to join today. They can do so quickly and easily at www.cwu.org.au.

Together, we are stronger, and it is this strength that allows us to continue to deliver the pay outcomes, job security and dignity and respect at work that you and other CWU members across the country deserve.

Here’s to you, your hard work, and the outcomes you’ve earned.

This increase applies to your base rate of pay and will be reflected in your pay advice as of 7 September. Furthermore, the increase will also apply to all allowances covered by the EBA.

Should you require any further information in the meantime, please contact your State Branch Official directly.

Yours faithfully,

Shane Murphy
Divisional Secretary
