Employees say Yes to Kordia Maritime agreement

Employees at Kordia Maritime Safety Communications Systems (Kordia MSCS) have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a new Enterprise Agreement negotiated by the CWU.

The agreement received a 90% YES vote from employees.

And that it not surprising given that it will deliver pay rises of 4% each year over 2 years, with the first rise back dated to July 2015.

It will also provide increases in allowances by the same percentage each year and an increase in leave loading to 31.5 %.

The CWU Divisional Executive will now be asked to endorse the agreement formally so that the union can be covered by it and file the appropriate paper work with the Fair Work Commission.
