EBA2019

Action winds up with talks scheduled to recommence next week

Last week we wrote to you advising that all indefinite protected action would cease following Telstra indicating a willingness to return to the bargaining table.

As the last of our scheduled periodic stoppages wind up today, we’re please to report that talks with Telstra will officially recommence next week.

Our first meeting is already scheduled for Tuesday, 7 May and we will keep members updated as bargaining continues to progress.

Members should return to undertaking all regular duties and ordinary scheduling from tomorrow.

However, whilst getting back to regular genuine talks is our focus right now, the end-game is delivering a fair EBA outcome that allows members and their families to keep up with the cost of living. Members should be prepared to re-engage in protected action in the event that talks do not progress to a fair EBA offer.

Please contact your State Branch Official should you require any further information, at this time
