ISGM expands Foxtel role

Major Telstra contractor, ISG Management, will expand the role it performs for Foxtel, adding maintenance functions to its current contract with the Pay TV provider.

In late 2014, ISGM won a six year contract with Foxtel for installation of satellite services in parts of regional Australia.

Under the new arrangements, Foxtel will manage maintenance and installation across both satellite and cable Pay TV platforms, for commercial and Multi Dwelling Units (MDU) and for broadband services.

The expanded contract will cover work in Victoria, Tasmania, Northern Territory and South Australia, as well as parts of southern Queensland and northern New South Wales, including Newcastle.

According to ISGM, it will require ISGM to add approximately 500 subcontractors to ISGM’s workforce of over 4,000 subcontractors nationally.

The new work comes on top of ISGM’s successful bid for NBN HFC work which will see ISGM responsible for the roll-out to more than 50,000 Victorian premises, commencing in August this year.
